With the success of Eleven of Eleven’s concept for Vivvi’s flagship in Tribeca, Vivvi chose Eleven of Eleven to design their second campus at Hudson Yards. The Hudson Yards space is about 6,000 SF at street level with large windows that face north and west.

We chose a rounded rectangle shape - echoing the building’s graceful windows - to unify the campus. These rounded rectangles soften the corners at the custom millwork cubbies,  the “proscenium arch” crowning the seat-steps in the entry,  and at the gently curving walls that separate corridor from classrooms.

We exposed the 25’+ ceilings and maximized the large windows for natural light to get deep into the space.

We worked with award-winning Pentagram to integrate new graphic elements for the Vivvi brand.

Like all of our educational designs, we selected materials and furniture for Vivvi that are safe, healthy, non-toxic and environmentally-friendly. The children who inhabit this school daily deserve to be nurtured and nourished by our design.
