Our third Vivvi Space is in Brooklyn in the popular Dumbo district. At approximately 9,100 SF, this child care and early learning center is larger than the initial campuses and spans two levels.

The typical eight classroom program was able to be expanded to include an additional classroom. This allows for older kids’ after-school program, as well as teacher and community service programs. Accompanying this lower-level classroom are staff support spaces and offices, so the whole lower floor can be used for events.

This Vivvi location sits on a busy intersection. We put Vivvi’s distinctive “Wiggle Room” at this corner. When passers-by look in, they are enticed by the custom MOVE millwork full of children’s toys.

As with all of our designs, we integrated elements like mirrors, pull-up bars, steps, and nooks for children to interact with the architecture. These customizations make the school unique.
